Gorgeous Outdoor Wedding at Double K Estate in Boyne Falls, MI // Alexus + Weston

Looking at this beautiful outdoor wedding, you would have no idea how much DIY went into this amazing event! The bride’s family built ALL of the reception, cocktail, and dessert tables and bars, and they even put together the gorgeous floral wall for the ceremony! The bridesmaids also did an amazing job picking their own forest green and burnt orange dresses to go with the color scheme. This bride had two beautiful wedding dresses, one lace dress that she wore during the first look and reception, and a stunning long-sleeved gown that she wore for the outdoor ceremony. This bride and groom went to Michigan State University together, so to surprise her new hubby, the bride brought out Sparty, the Michigan State Mascot! This was such a fun moment, and all three of them surprised the wedding attendees by walking into cocktail hour to the MSU fight song. I loved seeing them share something that was special to them, and it really helped to get the party started! I hope you love this outdoor DIY wedding!
