I’ll come to you. I’m so happy to fly out to you to take photos in your favorite place. This is something I only offer to the couples who are booking a wedding package as well to enhance the experience. I love engagement photos and feel it gives us an awesome opportunity to get to know each other. This option will entail some additional costs in order to compensate for travel expenses. Or, check my travel dates below to see if there’s somewhere we could easily meet up to avoid extra expenses!

You can come to me! If you don’t already know, Utah is GORGEOUS year round and there is so much diversity in the landscapes here. If you’re booking a wedding package and decide to come here I’m happy to give you a discounted rate! 

Hire an associate. I have lots and lots (and lots) of friends and connections in this weirdly small photography world. So to pull this off I’d find someone I know and fully trust with a similar style of shooting and posing in your area to capture your engagement session. I’ll be in full contact with the both of you to coordinate the shoot and make sure it’s exactly how we want it to be! My associate would send me all the files after the shoot is completed and I’ll do all the sorting, editing, and sending.

ENGAGEMENT SHOOT:

Whether we're both in Utah or separated by land and sea, I will most certainly BE THERE throughout this entire process. I am always available for anything. I’m here to answer any questions, give advice, help design a timeline, coordinate with a wedding planner, recommend vendors, or be your shoulder to cry on. By the time we actually meet, it’ll already be like we’re best friends. I’ll send a detailed questionnaire to make sure I know about every important detail going into your day so I can capture it all perfectly.

Don’t worry! I’ve got it all figured out. All the travel expenses are included within each package of the pricing guide I’ll send you. Unless your event is out of the country, there won’t be any additional fees for travel added on.

I book all my own flights, hotels, and rental cars a couple months before the wedding. I always fly in at least the night before the wedding to make sure I’m there for you on the big day despite any chances of flight cancellations or delays. 

SO WHO HANDLES THE TRAVEL EXPENSES AND BOOKINGS?

OF COURSE! However, I have decided to cut back on the amount of out-of-state weddings I take per year as life is always calling for adjustments and flexibility. So availability will be limited for travel weddings -especially East Coast- so don't hesitate to reach out!

Maybe this is cheesy, but a fresh perspective really keeps me on my toes and sets me apart from others. I almost never shoot at the same venue twice and see everything in a completely new light that local photographers don’t. One of the things that makes traveling for weddings so exciting is all of the unfamiliar locations I get to shoot at. I’ve developed an eye for finding the best lighting and setting in any given place and always come prepared for anything!
