Big Sur never fails to blow me away but this time was something different. Spring had just started rolling in along with the thick fog which filtered the sunlight. It was windy and cold during their little ceremony on the (semi sketchy) cliffs of Rocky Point but the colors were warm and the love was so real. Maggie and Ryan, after all the turmoil and trouble and heartache they’d been through in their time together, along with all of the accomplishments and beautiful moments, were so connected it was almost as tangible as it was visible. They decided to do away with all the traditional details and shenanigans of a big wedding and instead ran away to one of the most beautiful places on the California coast with only their sweet rescue pup Bella and two friends who meant the world to them. The time flew by even though the wind was chilly and I swear Maggie’s lips started turning purple. We could have been out there all day and I’ll be honest, I may have teared up a bit from all the overwhelming beauty I had to take in. Like I always say, I’m so lucky that I had a part in this life-changing in this big beautiful love story, and that I was able to gain a new friendship (which really, me and Maggie knew we were destined to be BFF’s the day we first FaceTimed each other. It was fate tbh). I can’t wait to see where life takes these two and the adventures they have ahead of them.
