Taylor + Kris Palomar Mountain Cabin Wedding

Taylor and Kriss wedding was one Ill never forget! So many little meaningful details, beautiful, hilarious, unique moments and a couple that made me feel like part of the family. Some of my favorite memories from the day were during the ceremony, dancing, and reception. During the ceremony, Taylor and Kris chose to quietly exchange their personal vows over communion away from the guests. When they went to take the bread, there wasnt any. We thought someone had maybe forgotten to place it, but it turns out some mysterious forest creature had come along and partaken of communion before they could. Hope that raccoon feels blessed.

Taylor and her dad chose to dance to Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen for their daddy daughter dance. The story behind the song made me cry, but nobody tells it better than Taylor: So me and my dad loved just singing the song to each other and it was like our “thing”. Then it started that any time we heard the song and weren’t together we would call each other and not even say a word but just set the phones down and listen to it together. I would even do it at school dances, or if I called him at work he’d always pick up and listen with it on his desk. When I got older and started to travel for a while at a time with Kris, any time I called him it meant to him that I was still his and i’m doing alright. It grew into a way that he could know that i’m still his little girl even though Im off in the world running around. // The story and the dance alone were one of the most special moments, and then (naturally) every single guest had to start singing along and eventually joined them on the dance floor. I know I say it all the time, but this is why I do what I do and love every minute.

Lastly, Taylor had always wanted to chop her hair off but wanted to wait until the day after the wedding for photo reasons. But during the reception following family photos she said what the hell and decided to chop it off right then and there. Her friend who did her hair for the day was still hanging around to party to do the job. Kris gave it the initial chop and proudly presented the 8ish inches of hair to the dancing guests right after.
